New publication: The first VINCI Foundations Rendezvous Logbook – Obtaining and staying in housing
Is access to accommodation and housing in France today paralysed by the growing financial insecurity of households? Are there promising solutions to respond to this crisis?
Following the first VINCI Foundations Rendezvous , organised at the Grands Voisins by the Fondation VINCI pour la Cité and the international network of VINCI Foundations on 26 April 2016, the Foundation is publishing its first theme-based logbook .
The VINCI Foundations Rendezvous meetings intend to shine the spotlight on initiatives identified by the network in France and Europe. These events, which aim to disseminate innovative solutions, facilitate discussion and debate between the different players in the private and public spheres and the social and inclusive economy. This first rendezvous brought together some 100 people: representatives of non-profit organisations, experts and agencies working in the housing sector.
This publication reports on the findings of the lively round-table discussion on the challenges encountered in the sector, the presentation of prize-winning initiatives from the Housing 2015 call for projects conducted by the Fondation VINCI, which received their awards at the event, and provides an overall review of the different solutions emerging from the brainstorming workshops on community housing in partnership with CommonsSense .
