Thanks to the acquisition of two drones, Impact Network has been able to duplicate its training programme in France. The goal: train job seekers for a promising sector and help them re-enter the job market

Thanks to the acquisition of two drones, Drones&Good (an INCO initiative) has been able to duplicate its training program in France. The goal: train job-seekers for a promising sector and help them re-enter the job market.

Drones&Good is developing innovative solutions to remove barriers to employment. Drones&Good is a free civil drone training program intended for early school leavers and long-term job-seekers. After the 2016 pilot edition success, the program has been replicated in France.

The program was able to count on the support of the Fondation VINCI pour la Cité and its sponsor, Maxime Trocmé, Head of Research, Development and Innovation at VINCI Construction. The grant allowed it to finance the purchase of two drones to replicate the program in France.

Fifteen job-seekers have received three months of training in civil drone professions. The program focuses on regulations, the study of civil use of drones in industry, and data processing. They are being trained on the senseFly eBee and the DJI Phantom 4 Pro, the ‘two types of drones most frequently used for data collection,’ explained Nicolas Hazard, founder of the Drones&Good program.
